We are currently hiring a Spot Welder for a manufacturing facility located in Etobicoke. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hands-on welding experience who are looking to join a stable and growing team.
Job Details:
- Location: Etobicoke, ON
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $19/hour
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate spot welding machines to join metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Set up and adjust welding equipment (pressure, temperature, timing)
- Inspect welded parts to ensure quality and proper alignment
- Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting of welding equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a spot welder or in a similar role
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be reliable and punctual
